Puzzle who will replace Marwan Hasmen as Regional Secretary (SEKDA) of Palembang City has not revealed yet.

Palembang Mayor Eddy Santana Putra, told reporters that his party still considered the names of replacement candidates that Marwan will soon retire next month.

“If SEKDA is retirement we will certainly replace him, because it has rules,” said Eddy Santana, after attending the Special Plenary Session of Regional Parliament of palembang with an agenda of election chairman and deputy chairman of the Board.

“There are three or four names that we still discuss and consider,” said Eddy without elaborating those names.

Even so, the number one man in the international-oriented city is saying that the four names have the same opportunities.

He also explained that currently the names of candidates proposed by the city government has not submitted to the Governor of South Sumatra Province Alex Noerdin yet.

“The names we have not proposed to the governor of South Sumatra,” he called.

According to Harnojoyo, chairman of Parliamen, regional secretary position should be someone who has extensive experience. In addition, regional secretary, said Harnojoyo, is a career position which must be filled by people who have a professional attitude. (why)

Harnojoyo is Elected as a Chairman of Parliament

Four representatives elected as chairman and vice chairman of the Regional People’s Representative Council of palembang and sworn today.

They are Harnojoyo S. Sos (from Democrat party) as chairman, and three other names: Fahlevi Maizano, SH, MH ( from Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle /PDIP), Jimmi Oscar Harris, ST ( from Functional Group Party/Golkar ), and H Suhaely Ibrahim, Lc (from Prosperous Justice Party/PKS), respectively as vice chairman.

The four name was chosen because his party had a majority in parliament. Democrats have 11 seats, the PDI-Struggle and the Golkar 7 seats, and the PKS 5 seats.

The politicians were elected and sworn in by Chief of Class IA State Court of Palembang Mohammad Hatta in a special plenary session of the Council, Thursday (29/10).

Chairman of Regional Legislative Harnojoyo said that this inauguration had been early momentum for them to realize the aspirations of Palembang community.

For that, says Romi, SKPD budget should be 40 percent for routine activities and 60 percent for the development for the sake of the people.
